GiGi makes the invisible work of family life visible, shares it fairly between parents, and takes as much of it off their plates as possible.
How we work
Three things, in this order.
Visible first.
You can’t share what one partner doesn’t know exists.
Allison Daminger’s research shows the unequal part of household work is the anticipating and monitoring: noticing the passport is about to expire, the form is due, the bill is going up. The other partner often doesn’t see that work at all. GiGi writes it down, so both parents are looking at the same list.
Shared second.
Things have to change.
GiGi is built for the household, not for one person. Both parents approve, assign and see the work, so who carries what becomes a decision you make together instead of a default one of you absorbs.
Lifted third.
Then, as much of it as possible, gone.
Once the work is seen and shared, GiGi takes on what it can: watching renewals, adding school dates to the calendar, finding the better deal. Nothing happens without a tap from one of you.
